White powder. The theoretical chemical composition is 2r02 67.2%, Si02 32.8%, relative density 4.7, melting point 2400~2500 °C, hardness 7.5. Good chemical stability.

Zirconium silicate - preparation method

After mixing zirconia quartz and soda ash in a certain proportion, it is sent to a high-temperature furnace for roasting at about 1100 °C, and then sent to the purification tank after crushing, and then the pH value is adjusted to acidic with hydrochloric acid, and then additives are added, and impurities such as titanium and iron are purified at 60~80 °C, rinsed with water to remove insoluble salts, and the product is obtained by filtration, drying and air flow crushing.
